Legal information

Terms of sale

This English version is provided for convenience. The French version is the legally binding one.

1. Purpose and scope

These terms govern the wedding and celebration film services offered by Angelo Moreira Films, operated by Angelo Semedo Moreira (the “Provider”), to anyone who orders a service (the “Client”), whether acting as a consumer or in a professional capacity.

They supplement the accepted quotation, which specifies the chosen collection, the date, the location and the price. In the event of a conflict, the quotation prevails. Signing the quotation constitutes acceptance of these terms.

2. Quotation and booking

Each service is the subject of a personalised quotation, valid for 30 days. The date is reserved only once the signed quotation and the deposit provided for in article 3 have been received. Until both conditions are met, the Provider remains free to offer the date to another client.

The collections (Élégance, Signature, D'Exception) and their content are described on the website for guidance only. Options and additional services (civil ceremony, welcome dinner and brunch, pre-wedding session, extra hours, additional filmmaker, aerial footage, photo album) are added by quotation.

3. Price and payment

Prices are expressed in euros and shown on the quotation. The VAT mention follows the Provider's status indicated in the legal notice.

A deposit of 30% of the total price is due when the quotation is signed. The balance is payable no later than 15 days before the date of the service. Payment is made by bank transfer or by any other means indicated on the quotation.

Travel, accommodation and equipment transport costs that may be required, as well as extra hours, are specified on the quotation. The Client provides meals for the team throughout the service.

For professional clients, any late payment automatically incurs penalties equal to three times the legal interest rate, together with a fixed indemnity of €40 for recovery costs.

4. How the service runs

Coverage is continuous, from getting ready until 1 a.m., based on the number of filmmakers included in the chosen collection. The Client sends the Provider, as early as possible before the date, the schedule of the day, the venues, the timings and the contact details of the main participants.

The Client is responsible for obtaining, from the reception venues and the other providers, the permissions needed for filming. Aerial footage (drone) is subject to weather conditions and local regulations; if it cannot be carried out, the Provider cannot be held liable and no price reduction is due.

The Provider keeps the freedom of their artistic choices (framing, angles, moments filmed) and adapts to how the day actually unfolds.

5. Delivery

The film is delivered in a private gallery for viewing and downloading, within an indicative period of 3 to 6 months from the date of the service. This period is indicative: a delay gives rise to neither cancellation nor compensation. Any physical item included in the collection (USB box, video book) is shipped or handed over once the film is finalised.

The gallery remains accessible for 12 months after delivery. It is the Client's responsibility to download and back up their files during this period. Rushes (raw footage) are not delivered unless agreed in writing.

Editing is part of the Provider's artistic freedom. On receipt, the Client may request one round of minor corrections (for example a name or caption error) within 15 days; a complete re-edit is not included.

6. Right of withdrawal (consumers)

Where the contract is concluded at a distance or off-premises with a consumer, the consumer has 14 days from signing the quotation to withdraw, without having to give a reason, by sending an unequivocal request to studio.asmparis@outlook.com.

If the Client expressly asks for the service or the reservation of the date to begin before the end of this period, they pay an amount proportionate to what has been done up to the withdrawal. The right of withdrawal does not apply to professional clients.

7. Cancellation and postponement

If the Client cancels, the deposit is retained by the Provider. In addition, unless withdrawal applies under article 6:

  • more than 90 days before the date: no further sum;
  • between 90 and 30 days before the date: 50% of the total price;
  • less than 30 days before the date: 100% of the total price.

The Client may ask to postpone the date, subject to the Provider's availability. A first postponement requested more than 60 days in advance is free of charge; beyond that, the quotation may be adjusted.

If the Provider is prevented from carrying out the service (illness, accident, force majeure), they will offer a filmmaker of equivalent standard or, failing that, refund all sums paid, without further compensation. Force majeure includes in particular unforeseeable and irresistible events recognised by law and case law, as well as restrictions imposed by the authorities.

8. Intellectual property and image rights

The Provider remains the copyright holder of the films and images produced. They grant the Client a right of private, family and non-commercial use, including sharing on their social media with a credit to Angelo Moreira Films. Any commercial use, modification or transfer to a third party requires the Provider's written consent.

Unless the Client objects in writing before the service or when signing the quotation, the Provider may use extracts of the film for their portfolio, website and social media. Such an objection is accepted unconditionally, in particular where discretion is required. The Client informs their guests of the presence of the film crew and ensures that the people filmed do not object.

9. Liability

The Provider has an obligation of means. Their liability is limited to direct damage and, in any event, to the amount actually paid by the Client for the service. In the event of loss or damage to the footage due to a technical incident or an event beyond their control, they refund the part of the price corresponding to the lost sequences.

The Provider is not liable for delays or organisational failings, for other providers, for venues, for light or weather conditions, or for moments they could not film because of how the day unfolded.

10. Personal data

The processing of personal data is described in the privacy policy.

11. Complaints and mediation

Any complaint may be sent to studio.asmparis@outlook.com. Failing an amicable solution, the consumer may use the consumer mediator free of charge: [médiateur de la consommation à compléter : nom, adresse postale et site internet]

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by French law. For professional clients, any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the courts of the Provider's registered office; for consumers, under the ordinary rules of jurisdiction.
